Rob Longfellow

Chief Technology Officer

Rob is a manufacturing technology leader with over 30 years of experience driving strategic change in organizations and solving business problems. Rob leads the Juxtum team in developing and implementing smart manufacturing solutions that simplify the digitalization process for manufacturers, enabling them to connect, protect, and view their operations and access new levels of profitability and growth.

Rob is a member of the MTConnect Standards Committee and co-chair of the Complex Machines working group.

Before joining Juxtum, Rob served as the Director of Industrial IoT (IIoT) Solutions for TechSolve, Inc., a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Manufacturing Extension Partnership center in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, as a leader of the Southwest Ohio MEP, Rob was instrumental in helping TechSolve advance its mission of providing US manufacturers with the tools and resources necessary to be competitive in today’s rapidly changing marketplace. Rob also served as co-owner and president of a multi-national machine tool manufacturing company for over a decade.

Rob holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Finance from North Carolina State University.
